“Our friend, Ken, invites us out to his place along the river to pick asparagus each spring. Finding asparagus takes patience, as they are very well camouflaged amongst the grasses and brush. It’s exciting to finally see one, standing up straight and proud. Usually where you find one, you’ll find another. This article features wild asparagus, microgreens, nasturtiums, and a recipe for gribiche-style vinaigrette (which is great atop asparagus with finely chopped boiled egg).”
