Organize Your Screen Time: Use RSS and Feedly for Recipes!

by Jun 5, 2017

See that orange “rss feed” on the right up there in the screenshot? You have a choice about how you want to read my posts:  rss or email.  I love rss because I can go to one place and read blog posts from Food52, Smitten Kitchen, Cookie + Kate, all my favorite wine bloggers and magazines, all in one place and NOT in email, where I’m trying to spend less time.

RSS stands for  “really simple syndication” and it is pretty much a free gift of organization from the internet.  I use Feedly as my “rss reader” and you can use it too.  Go to Feedly.com and enter “www.ripefoodandwine.com” into the search box then click Follow.   Like this:

You can easily create your own custom library and have a great “home base” of reading material for when you have a few minutes.  Here’s mine:

Enjoy getting organized and being more efficient about how you spend your screen time!
